Leftover story threads

MD does a great job laying the groundwork for storylines very early on and then picking throws back up several books down the line.

I’m going back through the series (like everyone else here) and I just was reminded during Butcher’s Masquerade that Donut has a “safe room strike” against her because when Carl pierced her nipple she tried to bite him.

A huge one that MD started hinting at during book 5 was the protection of the memorial crystals from Scolopendra’s attacks, which has now come back to relevance.

What are some leftover story threads that you think may pop up, no matter how insignificant they may seem?
