Planning a trip to Bolivia in 8 weeks — how is the situation looking?
Hey everyone, I'm planning to visit Bolivia as part of a longer South America trip (also hitting Chile and Peru) and I'm currently looking at arriving in roughly 8 weeks. I've been reading about the protests and roadblocks around La Paz and want to get a realistic picture from people on the ground. A few questions:
- Are things calming down or still pretty disrupted?
- Is access to El Alto Airport reliable, or should I budget extra time?
- Are the main tourist routes (Salar de Uyuni, Lake Titicaca, etc.) affected?
- Any tips for staying flexible in case of last-minute blockades?
