Community Volunteer Ideas

SB Fam,
I’m looking for community input for volunteer ideas and opportunities. I’m in the early stage of assembling a local youth baseball team (11/12 yr olds). I want to shift the focus away from “power rankings” and collecting rings (tournament placings) and more towards character development. Part of the plan would be to have the team engage in a monthly volunteer day in the community. It would be 12-14 kids (ages 11/12).

Please drop your thoughts and ideas here. Coaches and parents would also be involved, so appropriate oversight wouldn’t be an issue.
