Do we really know *why* Scotland pulled out of the Norway game?
Apologies if this has all been explained and I’ve missed it, but I’m seeing folk on here agreeing that it was unprofessional for Scotland to call this off, but I don’t feel like I’ve got the whole picture.
Supposedly injuries in the Scotland team were floated as a reason.
Today I’m seeing the Norway manager alluding to what sounds like a joint Scotland-Norway training. He was denying that Scotland players had been injured at this training.
Is that the actual story here? Scotland players were picking up injuries in training with Norway according to Clarke? (But denied by the Norway manager?).
If so, I can understand picking the ball up and walking away, especially if whatever apparently went wrong is being denied by the Norway manager.
Seems to me there could be a dispute somewhere between the managers and only one side is taking their version public.
If I’ve got the wrong end of the stick and made an arse of this then I’ll take a handful of pelters then delete like a coward.
