Banned instead of the scammer over £2,100

Hi I wondering if anyone had any advice on this.
I ordered an expensive item on Vinted for £2,100, the seller had good reviews and had sold other items at this price so I felt safe purchasing it. As the days passed I noticed the seller was blocked on Vinted while the item was being sent to me, so I just assumed that they temporarily banned him. When I received my item it was a very obvious fake and I opened a case with Vinted, to which the seller agreed to take it back. I then took a full video and took pictures of me sending the item back, once the item reached the seller he obviously claimed that nothing was in the package to which I provided thorough proof of packing and handing to post office via pictures which Vinted said was perfect info, to my shock 3 weeks later Vinted have now said that they have sent the money to the seller because “ there is no proof of the item being stolen and there is proof it has arrived to you”. I am assuming they meant to send this message to the seller but got confused and released the funds to him instead. I have no idea what to do. And then Vinted banned my account for the cherry on top.
