Can I give a storm set to my friend

He's a cata 28 lvl 60 and me cata 37 lvl 230 and I was wondering if to play dungeon with hjm I could give me a better set (storm caus ehe got wise dragon) or would it be concider boosting. I've been playing with him for like 3 weeks
