After working on 200k+ mental health conversations, this is what I’ve learned.

Helpful Information

I’ve been working in mental health for the last 5+ years and one thing keeps coming up again and again.

Most people don’t actually want advice. They just want someone to listen without judging, fixing, or interrupting.

A lot of the tools out there assume you have the energy to “work on yourself.”
But most people I’ve interacted with are just trying to get through the day.

That gap is what pushed me to start building something around this space.

It’s been interesting to see how people respond when you remove pressure and just… listen.

If you feel the same or even if you don’t feel like you have someone to talk to, or just want to vent at 2am or 2pm you can try talking to something I’ve been building called Tara on Mindspace.ai

Would genuinely like honest feedback, what feels right, what feels off.

Also, if this reminds you of someone, maybe share it with them.

Curious:
what’s the worst mental health advice you’ve personally received?
