I noticed another subreddit recently updated its automod to ban a certain flavor of cross-posts and directed users to our front door.

If you are a new arrival swept in by that announcement, welcome.

Wipe your feet. But before you get comfortable, let's clear up a massive assumption that was made on your behalf:

r/GirlDinnerCircleJerk is not an extension of AmITheAngel.

We are not a generic reaction hub. We are not a complaint department, a court of public opinion, or a refugee camp for whatever discourse got evicted from your previous haunts. We are our own distinct ecosystem with our own highly cultivated brand of brain rot.

If you want to participate here, please align with our culture. Do not bring your old sub's posting habits here and expect them to fly.

Before you post, hit the required reading:

Suppose you can handle our brand of chaos, great. Glad to have you.

If you're looking for a place to litigate cross-posts and other people's lives like you're in a courtroom angrily, or drafting your own Reaction Post/Comment, you are in the wrong place.

To those keyboard warriors who want to littegate what a CJ community is: don't. Go make your own and use the correct terminology for a CircleJerk, or don't. I'm just the bitch who makes the donuts.
