Doubts about hostel from a fresher

Hi seniors,

I'm going to join Vit-ap this year. I have already paid the fees for the program. I wanted to know about the hostel allotment.

When does it start?

Is it first come first served?

Which hostel is recommended for girls, Lh1 Lh2 or Lh3?

What kind of room should I go for, I do want privacy, is 4 bedded or 3 bedded worth it?

Can students and parents visit the campus before the allotment?

Are there any restrictions or things to be known by freshers before coming?
