The league has been doing this to the Knicks for over 30 years

Because I'm a masochist, I rewatched the 4th quarter of the infamous Charles Smith Game, Game 5 of the 1993 conference finals. This was the most painful loss of my entire sports watching career. I remember at the time the foul calls were egregious but man, did they remind me of game 2. The game should have never come to that Charles Smith play, which, by the way, was one of the few calls in the 4th the refs got right, but even if there was a foul it almost certainly wouldn't have been called because NOTHING was getting in the way of Jordan's 3-peat.

Here are some of the most questionable fouls on the Knicks.

Doc Rivers foul on Jordan, do you see any contact, it's possible he touched his arm.

Moving screen right in front of the ref pinning Armstrong's man for a wide open 3. Hey ref did you ever wonder why BJ was so wide open?

The Knicks didn't do themselves any favors in this game, a lot of careless passes and missed free throws but this game was the inception of my belief that the league conspires to fix games for their current preferred superstar.
