Question after visiting for the first time in a few years

I’ve been coming to Cyprus from the UK since I was a kid. I’m here now in Paphos and it’s my first time back since 2024.

Has there been a huge influx of migrant workers in the last two years? Not making a political point, just curious.

Just noticing a lot more of the people who work in the restaurants, supermarkets, water park etc are of African / Indian origin.

I don’t remember it being like this a few years ago - mostly Cypriots everywhere.

What’s changed in the last few years?
