1984 Sikh m@$$acres and the situation in Kashmir back then

Hello everyone

I've lately been curious to know about how things were going for Sikhs in Kashmir when the m@$$acers were happening in places like Delhi in 1984. Back then, NC was the ruling party in J&K and everyone knows that they're staunch Congress allies, so I guess not really a friendly government for the local Sikhs. I'd like to know from the people of this sub, especially Kashmiri Sikhs.
