Does anyone know about ripping CDs with MusicBee? Need help with the settings.

I am ripping a few CDs from my library and I'm wondering about specific settings and if they're necessary.

I am wanting 320kbps quality MP3s so I selected MP3 in maximum quality. In the drive settings there are a few options: quick rip, secure rip with error recovery, and check C2 errors.

What does secure rip with error recovery do and is it worth doing that for every CD or only for scratched CDs?
