One of my self check out machines that's normally cash is not right now because the cash dispenser isn't working properly. There are signs everywhere there can be signs. There was a sign tapped OVER the cash part so the customer could not force feed the machine anyway.

A lady goes to that machine and rips off the No Cash sign. She proceeds to then tell me the machine short changed her. I told her "Yes mam, that's why it says no cash everywhere and the machine has a notice that prompts you to proceed with only credit.

"Oh I didn't see it!"

This time I said back to her "Yes you did. It's in front of your face mam. There's a reason those signs are there because it isn't working but you ripped off my sign and thought it would work just for you." Yes, she did get her change back...but she had to get it back from my main console. Just because you rip off the signs doesn't mean they don't exist, Karen...
