Question regarding Honda Amaze - throttle response issue

Hey guys, I recently drove Honda Amaze CVT for the first time. It's my first time ever driving an automatic. It felt good initially, really fun.

But the issue I later faced was there was a constant throttle response issue. It's in Drive mode, and I was at a very low speed (around 20 kmph), and when I pressed the accelerator, the car won't accelerate??? Like I was pushhhhing the pedal down, but no response whatsoever. And eventually when I pushed it hard for a few seconds, it suddenly started revving highhh.

It happened soo many times in my short 30 minute ride. I typically observed that pattern between 20 kmph - 80 kmph.

Another thing is, my back of the foot was on the floor, and only the fingers were on the brake pedal, I noticed that once in a while (not too frequent as the throttle issue), the brake pedal is getting pushed down, and it comes back by itself. Not too much that the car slows down, but a little, which I could notice.

Is this that particular car's issue, or a CVT issue?

It's not my car, but I would probably drive it again. Give your opinions.
