I just realized that georgism is a massive privacy movement by eliminating the financial surveillance apparatus

Without the extreme IRS surveillance apparatus we have today that tracks the worth of what everyone owns, their income and how much stuff private businesses make, we will have massively reduced the scope of the surveillance state. Also the statistics that get used to inflame social tensions and create jealousy and resentment will simply not be there for the media to abuse. An underappreciated benefit of georgism is that people won't have their wealth forcibly exposed to the world and have targets put on their backs by this lack of privacy.
