Farmers apprentice program

Question

I just got out of an interview for the Farmers Apprentice Program, my mom and sister work in insurance and I’ve been looking to get lisenced just to open up some broader opportunities, the guy said they pay for all of your lisences and training but I’m just curious as to what the rub is. He said you’re not contracted into anything, and you won’t owe them anything for the state exams or testing, but I want to make sure I’m not signing my life away if sales isn’t something I can do long term. Any information on how that works if you decide to separate from the company?
