Hello 😊. I’ve just recently built my first gaming pc. I did research for about 2 weeks before ordering everything and I went with the following:

Ryzen 7 7800x3d
Sapphire Nitro+ 9070xt
Corsair Nautilus 360 AIO RGB Cooler
Corsair RM1000x PSU
Asus TUF Gaming B850+ Wifi Motherboard
Corsair Series 4500x PC Case (with 3 included RGB fans)
Samsung Evo Plus 990 2 TB SSD
Patriot Viper 2x16GB RGB RAM (6000Mhz/CL30)

After the first boot everything worked except the AIO fans. A little cable rework later and the AIO fans worked but didn’t have RGB. After another video guide I figured it out and everything worked as it should. I went through the initial setup steps (including tweaking BIOS to allow overclocking) and experienced a fully functional (if slow) PC.

The next day upon turning on the PC I noticed the RGB on one of the RAMs wasn’t working. After trying different RGB softwares and switching the RAM sticks didn’t work I was told the RGB probably fried after the first boot and it was a manufacturing issue. I returned them and am waiting on my refund from amazon.

Which brings me to now, having to look for a new RAM kit. I realised upon looking at my build that an aesthetically pleasing RAM kit was important to me (I didn’t like the red Patriot Viper logo on the side of the sticks). I’m pretty sure I also want to stick to Corsair since most of my other components are also Corsair, and aesthetically I like the look of their RAM kits. I’m confused at the pricing of their kits in my region however.

I live in Belgium, currency is in euros and my budget is flexible tbh (If I get a more expensive kit now that just means waiting a little longer for an upgrade to my current monitor) but ideally under 700€ and of course lower is better (but resigned to spending at least 550€ at current prices).

So far I have 3 DDR5 RGB options on the Corsair Europe site:

Vengeance RGB 2x16GB 6000MTs/CL30 for 658.99€

Dominator RGB 2x16GB 6000MTs/CL30 for 696.99€

Shugo Sakura Noa Edition 2x16GB 6000MTs/CL28 for 662.99€ (the CL28 version of the Vengeance series is 676.99€ for comparison) - it also comes with 2 dummy sticks to fill in the other slots with the same design

Now visually the Sakura Noa is totally my style and stunning to me! I really, really, really love the look. It also encompasses my favourite motif, being Cherry Blossoms.

I guess I’m just confused how it’s seemingly the ‘cheapest’ of the similar spec rated options (from what I can tell from the tech specs it’s identical to the Vengeance RAM at CL28?). How is a limited edition the ‘cheaper’ option and would it be good RAM?

For reference I play mainly gacha games: Wuthering Waves, Infinity Nikki, Honkai: Star Rail and Reverse 1999 (daily usually).

Non gacha games I play are: Elden Ring, Grandblue Fantasy Relink, Hogwarts Legacy, No Man’s Sky, Stardew Valley, SoS: Grand Bazaar, Stellar Blade and FFXVI (last 2 I have in my PS5 but have been considering getting on PC with my new build for updated graphics).

I play more Steam games but felt like what I listed gives a pretty good understanding of the range of games I play.

While I’m aware I probably have over invested in some parts of the build, my intent is to build a PC that will not need upgrades anytime soon (hopefully 5+ years) and will support my wide range of games. However I’m willing to invest more into aesthetics on my build as that is important to me.

I added a screenshot of the Sakura Noa sticks for reference and since they just launched not everyone might be familiar.

PS: if Corsair releases more Sakura Noa themed components I may end up switching down the line.

PPS: Corsair has a Custom Lab feature where you can add a more plain (but still lovely looking) Cherry Blossom motif and that comes to 684.99€ for CL30.
