HP victus gaming laptop blinking power button LED

Last Friday I was playing a game on my HP victus gaming laptop when it suddenly shut down on it's own. When I went to boot it up again the power button LED just started blinking and it hasn't stopped since.

I've tried holding down the power button for up to 60 seconds but nothing changes. I've also tried unplugging it and letting the battery drain completely, then charged it back up to see if it would boot up but it just started blinking again as soon as I pressed the power button.

One of my friends suggested that it could be an error code but I looked it up and the blinking patterns don't match (it turns on for 4 seconds, then back off for 4 seconds).

I have no idea what caused this or how to fix it and it's pretty urgent as I also need it for work. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know, thanks in advance (also my exact model is HP victus 15-fa1001sf and it's less than one year old).
