Opinions on TS-Optics GSO 12" F/8
Hello,
I am amateur astronomer from Romania, I am fairly experienced in this hobby, I currently have a setup with an EQ6-R and a Skywatcher 200/800 + a Skywatcher 200/1200 (the dob variant, but I took the tube and put rings on it to use it on the eq mount).
I am in the process of building a roll-off observatory with 2 piers, and for one of the piers I was thinking of getting a EQ8-R (I don't mind the weight since I will be putting it on the pier and not move it from there) and a telescope with an aperture of around 300mm (12" inch).
I was thinking of going with one of these:

They seem to be the exact same telescope except one is a carbon truss tube. I am looking for opinions on the construction quality, optics, collimation difficulty and frequency (this will be remote so I can't go there everyday to colimate the telescope), how well is it corrected, how well do the manufacturer recommended reducers correctors work etc. I am thinking of using it with a 0.67x reducer corrector also from TS-Optics and use it with a ASI 533MM (until I can upgrade to a 2600).
If you know better options in a similar budget I am also open to suggestions.
Thank you
