I built this because I kept asking myself, “Can I really afford this?”

Hi all,

I’m an independent developer and I’ve built a goal-based budgeting app called BudgetGoal.

When building it, my must-haves were:

*A great user experience, non-spreadsheet like

*A way to understand how future spending impacts my savings goals. Often I would find that I would purchase something , not truly understanding its impact on my savings goals.

*A clear daily amount to spend or save to stay on track

A lot of the budgeting apps I’ve used are more like spending trackers. They show what I’ve spent, but they don’t really help me understand how my spending affects my goals, which I haven’t found very useful.

I’m also an active user of the app (I built it to help with me manage my own finances) and always looking to improve it, so if you have any feedback, please get in touch.
