AORUS B850 Elite WiFi7 ICE BIOS update interrupted – no display, Q-Flash Plus not working
\
Hi everyone,
I have an AORUS B850 Elite WiFi7 ICE motherboard and unfortunately my PC was accidentally restarted during a BIOS update.
Since then, the PC powers on, fans spin, but there is no display at all.
At first, the DRAM red LED stayed on, but after reseating the RAM sticks in their slots, the DRAM light went away. However, the system still does not boot and there is still no image.
I already tried a lot of troubleshooting:
\- Cleared CMOS
\- Tried multiple USB sticks (1GB and 32GB)
\- Formatted USBs to FAT32 / MS-DOS (FAT)
\- Downloaded the correct BIOS for my motherboard from Gigabyte
\- Renamed the BIOS file to GIGABYTE.BIN
\- Put the file in the root of the USB
\- Used the correct Q-Flash Plus USB port
\- Tried Q-Flash Plus
I even removed almost everything from the PC and tried Q-Flash Plus with only motherboard power connected (removed CPU, GPU, SSDs, etc.), but it still did not work.
When I press the Q-Flash Plus button, the motherboard reacts briefly / powers on for a second, but then stops and the flashing process never seems to start.
At this point I’m not sure if the BIOS is corrupted beyond recovery or if I’m missing something obvious.
Any ideas or anyone experienced something similar?
