Dream about a "black vampire snake"

I have constant vivid dreams. Just about every night, im dreaming of something. Usually, I dont pay them any mind unless something very specific stands out. For this dream, it is a snake. This snake was in my yard and, from what I can find, doesn't have a real life counter part. It resembled a small venomous snake with large eyes. My husband, brother, and I stepped outside and saw it. It was cute to me in rhe dream, I like snakes, so not out of character. But I knew I had to relocate it or it might strike me pets or my family. So I reached down and grabbed it behind the head so its jaws were forced open and it couldn't bite. I tried to be gentle. The snake didn't freak out, but almost smiled as it reached around and bite me. I dropped the snake before its fangs could fully sink in, and my hand began to burn like acid. I yelped and shook off the venom, and the snake shriveled up, turning black, and died. It looked MUCH scarier after dying. Before it was a teal color with a white belly and big green eyes. After it was black with a gray belly and large fully red eyes without pupils. Still, I felt so guilty for killing it. I was scared of the venom, so I had my husband look up what kind of snake it may have been. That's where the "black vampire viper snake" name came from. He found out that they released a fake venom before actually poisoning, and said I shouldn't go to the er (he would never do this irl), and so I didn't.

When I woke up, I couldn't stop thinking about the snake. It's strange smile that felt friendly at first, but then it bit me. And the fact that it died and how awful I felt. I knew it had to mean something. Any thoughts about this would be appreciated!
