Did I make the right monitor purchase?

Build Help

Hey everyone, I just ordered a monitor that I will be picking up today from Best Buy. I am a huge fan of OLED as it’s been my main TV since 2021. For a brief moment, I tried the 180 Hz OLED Samsung monitor… which I thought was pretty awful, with Father’s Day coming up I treated myself to the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG, percent of the time I am playing a shooter game I come from a competitive background for cs, valorant, overwatch. Occasionally, I will play World of Warcraft and Diablo.. I can consistently get over 500 frames in the above mentioned games aside from Diablo and world of Warcraft.

So I will definitely be able to benefit from the true high refresh rate, and I was able to snag it at $679 my question here is I wanna know if I made the right decision as it’s a GEN 3 panel, I’m personally not concerned about having display port 2.1 as I have a 4070 super and I can’t support it anyhow. Given how life is with the kids I don’t foresee a graphics card upgrade for years to come. My question is at this price price point. Is this the best I will get for my needs, I want a high refresh rate OLED 1440 with a glossy finish. If I wanted to save money, I wouldn’t be saving much and I would be dropping down to 360 hz and I would only at most save about $60-$70 so I figured to get this. My only concern is I hardly see any reviews regarding this monitor.
