Should I go back to a Pixel?

So, to try and keep it brief. I had 2 Pixels in the past. Loved them but both ended up with a smashed screen. Said I would never return to Pixel as the phones are just not robust enough for me. Have 3 kids so always rushing around etc. Got a cheap Samsung and its still going strong and no smashed screens. But the camera is naff!

My question is, should I go back to Google? Are they more robust now? I was looking at a refurbished Pixel 7 pro potentially.
