Evanescia's Path

So after getting caught up on the Planarcadia story line I'm a bit muddled on how she is able to simultaneously be an emanator of Abundance and a pathstrider of Elation.

From my understanding (and correct me if I'm wrong) her original personality is an ancient emanator of Abundance who never lost a battle but was eventually transplanted to Ahatopia. Where she is then made into the arbitrator of the Phantasmoon games. The after a few millenia observing the mortals they come to understand true joy and the Evanescia personality is created and seemingly walks the path of Elation.

Now one could chalk up the multiple paths to a multiple people same body situation like March 7th/Evernight but that seems to be discredited in the same conservation as the reveal. Yao Guang says she's incorrect to refer to the Arbitrator personality as a different being as it's her true self. This leaves me with some questions

1. Can an emanator choose to walk a different path and remain an emanator?

2. If not does this mean Evanescia is no longer an emanator of abundance?

3. If yes, does that leave the door open for Evanescia to potentially become to duel emanator of both Abundance and Elation?

4. Was Yao Guang just incorrect and the universal concepts now consider Evanescia to be a seperate being from her original self?
