Superhero dream interpretation help please
In my dream I was a superhero. Dressed in all white (looked a lot like She-Ra tbh). I could fly, turn invisible. Gold light power shot from my hands and lazer beams from my eyes. I was pure power and the essence of life itself and everything good. If I thought and believed something, I could make it real. Essentially, I could evolve my power into anything that was needed. Because of this, I was the most powerful of all the heros, but not necessarily seen that way by the others, for their strengths and powers were far more aggressive and evident than mine.
Together all the superheroes made up a team. We could breath underwater. The mermaids welcomed us at the bottom of the ocean, where they allowed us to create our current lair where we could assemble and hide from the evil villain who currently threatened our world.
Above ground, I stood alert in my childhood neighborhood, I could hear him coming for a long time before he appeared. His footsteps made a haunting noise that shook the earth. He was absolutely massive. His boot, metal by the looks of it, was the size of our local public school, which he went on to crush underfoot as he walked by. The school had been empty, but the threat was evident. He could wipe out anything just by passing through. I knew if I believed it, I could destroy him alone myself. I was life and pure good. I could take life away as well as remove evil with pure good power. But, the superhero team had a plan underway. For a moment I almost flew after the villain determined to end him as fast as possible, but I hesitated and decided to stay with the team. Decided not to be the hero of the day, and instead work with my team on the agreed upon plan.
The plan was complicated and brilliant but dangerous and intricate in it's details. City block replicas were created to lure the villain into, where we would attack him. No innocents would be harmed. A small part of me feared that putting my faith in the team and relinquishing full control would make me vulnerable. I had to remind myself that whatever happened, I was a creator of life and goodness. I was invincible.
Then I woke up.
I can see how this is a metaphor for something I'm currently facing in real life.
But without knowing the outcome, the question remains - should I attempt to kill the villain myself as fast as possible or work alongside a team to take down the threat? What do you think my dream is trying to tell me??
