Apartment Pool

What age did you start taking your LO to the pool? Ours is 4mo and we’ve been invited to pool play dates. The CDC (if you still trust them lol) says infants should avoid pools until 6mo due to possible bacteria in the water. What did you do? I have a floaty she can be placed in that has a UV cover on it as she’s not old enough for sunscreen. Any advice is appreciated, TY!
