Matched a girl, everything has gone really well, suggested a coffee date. Been told to "chill"
Ok, so I(m27) installed tinder and in 5 mins I matched with this girl(F21). I know, I know - matching doesn't mean she likes you. We talked for a few hours and the vibe was going really well, I suggested we maybe go out sometime. First to a theater(she wants to become an actress, she is in university, wants to work at the theater. And I really wanted to go there, but none of my friends want to go, I wouldn't go alone. I told her that). She just suggested to which play I should go to. Which was ok, no biggie, preferred if maybe she gave a hint WE would go. We talked some more, the usual banter, jokes, get to know each other questions and I asked for her instagram. She accepted. I saw that she knows how to play the guitar as well and I recently got one too and I told her that she maybe can teach me. She suggested I come to her lectures(another sign to me in which I thought maybe I need to be more direct). We talked a bit more and then I decided to tell her this. I KNOW, I KNOW it's cringy AF but the vibe really put me up to this: "Hey, I still can't believe you are real, you must prove it at a coffee date". And then my world came crushing down, she told me to "chill". I told her: "hey, sorry, I am more direct and prefer talking in IRL" and if she changes her mind to let me know. After that I tried to message her 2 times. 1 she barely responded after a whole day and second I got ghosted.
I know I f'ed up, maybe my invitation came off as too desperate. Maybe I suggested a date too early. I am just questioning myself now.. maybe if I waited a day or two and talked with her more it would have been a different story.
What do you guys think? was she even interested at all? should I have waited more time? or the sooner you ask the better it is?
Sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language.
