Tailor to make dog clothes from kids clothes?

Does anyone know a place I can take kids clothes to and alter them to fit a dog ?
I have the dogs measurements but I’m not sure if I can go to any alteration service.
Has anyone does this before? If so, where did you go?
I don’t want to call several places and be given snarky responses for this, I know it’s a little strange.
Thanks in advance!
