Looking for squad, If that’s even a thing?

Okay so I’ve been playing around a month now and am currently MR7. Love the game so far and I’m glad that there’s a lot more content to get through. What I’m not sure on though is if squads are even a thing? I’d like to have a regular squad to hop in with but I’m not sure If this game is mainly solo and jumping in with players from around the world? I’m part of a clan which is great but there’s a lot of members and people as helpful as they are just seem to jump in and out. Any advice on this?
