Why is this sub toxic

Dont get me wrong, this isnt that toxic and there are a lot of nice people here who genuinely want to help and make your day better. But there are so many people that will just shit on you for having the wrong opinion and its pretty annoying. People are literally stalking my posts and nitpicking comments just because I said gatekeeping is bad. Do better guys.
