I have been transported back in time 2000ish years to the Roman Empire. What is the best way for me to preserve a message back to my own time?

Say I've been transported back in time to a prosperous and relatively safe Roman Empire. I've managed to become reasonably wealthy, and I want to write down my experiences and preserve them, so that future historians will have a better idea of what life back then was like.

Firstly, what aspects of Roman life should I write about, that the Romans themselves wouldn't think about writing about in great detail themselves? What would future historians be really excited to discover a text describing in great detail?

Secondly, how do I ensure this text survives the next 2000 years? Do I just commission dozens of copies and send them to each corner of the empire, or entomb them with me, or find a particularly good section of stone to carve them in? How do I ensure that at least some of my message survives?
