Alienware m16 R1 (AMD + RTX 4080) - Random FPS drops to 5 FPS for minutes at a time. Anyone else seen this?

Hey all - I’m running into a weird issue with my Alienware m16 R1 (AMD version) with a Ryzen 9 7845HX and RTX 4080 Laptop GPU. Every so often, my FPS will suddenly tank to 5–10 FPS and stay there for a few minutes before bouncing back to normal. Temps look fine in AWCC, and it doesn’t seem tied to any specific game. Might be tied to DLSS or frame gen - haven’t seen it happen when I don’t have those enabled.

Games I’ve seen it happen with - Resident Evil Requiem in the Leon city stages, and most recently in the Gothic 1 remake.
