May be moving from Worcester to New Bedford - convince me to move or talk me out of it?!

As the title says, considering moving from Worcester area to NB, specifically to the South End near Fort Taber Park. I've only spent a couple hours in that area so I don't know mcuh about it. Any advice? Things you wish you'd known before moving to New Bedford? Anyone else move from Worcester area - things you miss?
