Can I scan my Schengen visa photo and upload it for the online application?

Hi everyone,

I’m applying for a Schengen visa for Portugal and already had professional visa photos taken. I received two printed copies from the studio.

For the online application, can I simply scan one of the printed photos and upload the digital file, or do I need to get an official digital copy directly from the studio?

I’m mainly trying to submit the application online and secure an appointment as soon as possible. Has anyone done this before, and was a scanned version of the printed photo accepted?
