Ive noticed that on save rock n roll Patrick doesn't sound very enthusiastic, almost bored, compared to American beauty American psycho which was only 2 years later. on that album he's got some crazy performances and sounds like he's having the time of his life

is it possible that soul punk took such a toll on him that when the hiatus ended he wasn't really in tip top shape or did save rock n roll feel uninspired for him
