I hope he has one right now

but if not he should know that people he admires, like Nathan Fielder, **had lawyers behind him the whole time** when he was taking risks with large corporations

not just the on-screen old guy lawyer that he fucked with either, Fielder had a team of real behind-the-scenes lawyers through Viacom + then HBO. if he didn’t, he would have lost his greencard in the Nathan for You era

ben said he wanted to show what a real person looks like when taking on the system alone. ok, + now it’s clear that a real person would probably end up broke + in prison if they did the same stunts without going viral

he needs to use the patreon money + connections to save his own ass. if it’s not enough, he needs to start a legal defense gofundme for himself without placing blame on anybody in particular in the description to protect him from further charges

he does not have to retain the lawyer forever or agree to every recommendation or legal strategy they make, but holy fuck the court is going to eat him alive if he’s on his own

i doubt he’s not that stupid but there was apparently a filing for self-representation in at least one of the cases according to one lawyer on youtube. i don’t know how to fact check that

the lucifer valentine doc was the best thing i’ve ever seen online. he’s gotten away with some wild stuff in the past but everybody’s luck runs out. get a lawyer dude

i hope this post is stupid bc he already has representation. i hope this post is stupid instead of ben

BEN get a lawyer ffs
