Being burned

I'm absolutely terrified of being burned. Like I avoid cooking because of it which is a shame because I'd love to know how. But I'd rather not know how to cook than get burned even a bit by the edge of a frying pan or something.

Ovens? Nope. Even off I'd be cautious.

Kettles? Rather not. I feel like I'm going to spill and it will go on me

Too close to a bunsen burner in science? I'm good.

I love fire though. I love looking at it, it looks pretty, and it's interesting. Too close to a big fire to the point it feels burning? I'm moving to pluto.

Is there even a name for this? I'm not scared of fire. Just being burned.

Also when I was 4 my grandma accidentally spilled hot coffee on my leg and got 1st degree burns. I also accidentally burnt a pan once when frying an egg.
