Phone won't charge past 55% after 8.5 update

I dont know if anyone else has this issue or not, posting to see what you all think.

I have a Galaxy z flip 7 that I've absolutely loved so far. My phone updated a couple days ago to the UI 8.5 and now it won't charge past 55%. Just earlier today it died at 25% and wouldn't come back on for like half an hour. When I tried turning it back on it would go to the firat Samsung boot screen and then turn off and try again 20 seconds later and just go into a cycle of doing that. I figured I'd originally juat wait until they made an update to fix this... I haven't had any battery problems in any sort of way until this update. Ive tried doing the hard reset a few times, looked through all the settings related to the battery trying some amalgamation on them to see if one of them is bugging it but to no avail. Have any of yall experienced this or might know what steps to take next?
