Getting that out of the way. I have driven my 2021 FWD base base Mazda CX30 on the Tail (tail of the dragon) and the Mazdi handles amazing better than expected for a four door crossover!! I mean it doesn't like to get thrown into a corner like my previous gen 1 R52 Mini Cooper but the Mazdi has this great intuitive handling feel. It feels stable in a corner but still gives you great feedback. I also wanted to shred the old cheap tires that came with the car when I bought it used.

After owning the car for 2 years, I have put on new Falkens all seasons and played around with turning down some of the nannies and i found the car to handle slightly better with faster steering response and faster throttle response. Also the adaptive cruise isn't as jerky when collision avoidance is set to late. Side note when I was driving on the tail, I had almost everything off but kept traction control on and drove in manual mode. I also wanted to shred the old cheap tires that came with the car when I bought it used.

To end this, is it just me or does the Mazda drive better as in steering response, throttle response when collision avoidance is set to late or off, Audible and active land keep.assist is off and the misuse pedal thing is off too. It could be much less latency in the ECU and the modules where everything is instant instead of having to think through the inputs.
