A7Cii Exposure Question

Hello -

I recently picked up the A7Cii and am new to Sony. Thus far, I am quite pleased and think it fits the bill for what i was looking for. I am getting used to the menu, but do have one thing I cannot figure out regarding the exposure meter.

I like to shoot in manual with auto iso. On prior non-sony cameras I am very used to the meter showing over/underexposure as i dial in aperature/shutter setting. With auto-iso it just stays in the middle, but if i come off of auto iso it gives me a +/- reading.

Is there any way to make it so it behaves as it does with manual iso all the time? Is this a setting I have not found?
