Copy section of clip in timeline without using the razor tool

I'd like to copy a section of a clip in the timeline without using the razor tool. Then insert it in a different track. I read a lot of instructions but can't get it done. Either nothing is being pasted or the complete clip. Or a section is pasted in the audio track.

Can anyone help?
