22 male wondering if receding corners will/can come back due to my situation?
Hello, I am a 22 year old male experiencing hair loss/looking for advice. I was recently under a large amount of stress after a loved one passed 10 months ago as well as the other countless implications that came with that (theres a lot ha). Because I needed a way to make $, I worked a night shift job for the past 9 months that had me working 2-8am or 9pm-3am, so I was essentially an overly stressed zombie. I never experienced hair loss, and during this period every time I would run my hand through my hair multiple strands would fall out without fail. The stress is certainly stabilized now and I am no longer working that night job, however my corners have receded noticeably. My dad (60yrs old) has slight balding in the crown of his head, but his hairline is perfect. I guess what I'm wondering is if under the assumption that the corners receding were stress/sleep related, can they regrow within the next several months/years now that I have everything dialed in? I'm not opposed to getting a hair transplant eventually, however I heard that it's better to do so around the age of 25. Within these ~3 years, I would like to dial in my "hair hygiene" on top of my low-stress situation now in hopes of bringing back my corners instead of just waiting. What are your thoughts on micro needling with something like rosemary oil or minoxidil on top of making sure my stress/sleep is optimized now? Once I take minoxidil, do I need to be on it forever? Any expertise on this matter is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
