We have 3 great doodles and are looking for ideas on how to keep them safe on our loft in our new home.

We have a loft upstairs that will have a sectional sofa that backs up to a railing. The couch will back up to the railing where the desk currently is, directly opposite of the TV wall.

Our dogs have a habit of jumping up on top of the couch cushions to sit by our head. This would obviously be very dangerous as they could very easily fall off and have a 18 foot drop to a hardwood floor.

We are brainstorming ideas of what to do while still keeping the TV on that wall. Thus far we’ve thought of putting putting in a taller banister, maybe a piece of acrylic or plastic type glass in between the couch and the railing. We would welcome any ideas. Thank you!!
