Looking for Advice and ranting

I've spent the past 5-6 years working on a new graphic novel series. All original stuff, not a fan fiction or anything like that. All my own ideas and artistic direction and sketches, while working with 2-3 other artists but one primary artist all of which I paid out of pocket for there work.

I genuinely was just making the story and world that I wanted to see and could relate to. But I have no clue how to gain any attention to it, or stand out. Given theres tons of "a.i slop" in the market, as well as authors who are treat writing more like a job and hoping to gain X amount of sales per month on amazon if they publish Y amount of books.

For me this has been a big passion project of mine, and ive gone into debt making it - its been 5 years of my life (the first 2-3 years I didn't really know what I was doing but It started taking form the past 2 years and feel like we are in a great spot right now). Like thats how much I cared about it - I was willing to potentially ruin my life and go broke making this series. I cannot self-promo since this is my first post, but we also haven't launched publicly yet.

I fucking hate marketing and the spamming of shit and tons of fake shit now. Especially with a.i and bots and what not. I just don't know how to approach social media and being successful on social media seems like the only way this will work. I guess I will need to start posting videos of myself or something? I honestly dont know how to do it or talk infront of a camera very well. I kinda wish I could just write and work on this series and not deal with the business and social media side of things. But im at a point now where I have no choice - can't beat em join em basically.
