What does "we may set up a third interview, look out for an email" mean?

(Asking about my bf's interview)

Very nervous for him. May delete this post soon, so he doesn't see I'm asking.

Did he get rejected?

He thinks the interviewer didn't like his answers. I think he's fantastic, but my opinion is bias
