Construction

Hi! I’m a civil engineering student doing an internship in construction with Turner and literally no one I work w went for civil all mostly non engineering degrees except the project engineer but she’s not a PE. In school I am PUSHED to take FE an PE. I’m just kinda confused what my degree is for in relation to construction. I don’t really see the benefit of having an actual civil degree if I’m not going into design. I feel like I wasted college on a hard major.
