Ghost In love with a Mortal or vice-versa

found a wattpad story years ago that got deleted and i genuinely can't stop thinking about it

it was called Flowers of Evil and the premise was this ghost who was completely obsessed with the fmc. he'd protect her from people who hurt her, paranormal things would happen to them, nosebleeds, that kind of thing. but he'd also hurt her when she didn't comply with him. and he did it more than once, it wasn't a one time thing that got swept under the rug.

he shields her from everyone else but he's also the threat. she never saw his face, not once he's not someone she can reason with or appeal to. he just is. present, obsessive, a shift in the air before anything even happens. capable of real harm and somehow still the closest thing she has to someone who gives a damn about her. there's no separating the protection from the danger

the fmc is weak, already surrounded by people who hurt her, so he's not even the worst part of her situation which makes the whole thing darker.

looking for anything that hits the same notes invisible or faceless entity, obsessive protector who is also genuinely a threat, and a female lead who's already iss in a bad place before he even shows up.

please don't recommend anything where the dark elements are just for show. i need it to actually go there.
