Things Didn’t go to Plan

My wedding was yesterday and it was lovely we had a great day, but I can’t stop thinking about everything that went wrong.

- We asked no one to have there phones out during the ceremony. We put an order of the day card on everyone’s seat and we asked on there along with the register telling everyone as well. They still had no respect and did it anyway. And what makes it even worse is someone even posted a video of it on instagram story as it was happening.

- There wasn’t a seat left for my Dad in the front row. We reserved the front two seats and had certain seat placements for everyone in those rows and no one stuck to them. Which is why there wasn’t a seat.

- The register made a comment about me taking my husband last name when we told them I’m not taking his and he is taking mine.

- We had an outside decor copy do the decor and they were the wrong colour. We asked for Burgundy and they went with red wine colour instead.

- We did a choice menu for starter there was a vegan option and a chicken option. The vegan option came out with ham on it and about 50% of guests had this option.

- We had a Photo Booth and on the photos it had our last name on it and the spelt it wrong.

- My mum and dad got me a wedding cake, the asked my what cake they should get. I said obviously no chocolate (because they know I don’t like chocolate) and I said we both really like a Victoria sponge cake. So they got me a red velvet cake (that has chocolate in it) so I couldn’t even eat my own wedding cake.

- I thought it was standard practice not to post photos until the the Bride and Groom have posted however we had someone post photos on the day of the wedding.

I’m trying to separate this from the actual day as it was still lovely but I need to get this off my chest a bit.
